New Visitor Guidelines


Bakersfield Heart Hospital ask visitors to adhere to the following guidelines:

If you are feeling sick (fever, cough, and respiratory symptoms) please return home, unless seeking care.

Children under the age of 18 will not be permitted in the hospital unless they are seeking care.

As of 3/23/2020 WE ARE RESTRICTING ALL VISITS to patients who are currently being tested for COVID-19 AND THOSE PATIENTS IN CCU & PCU to protect the health of patients and staff—unless pre-approved by each patient's care team under extenuating circumstances.

Approved visitors will be allowed to enter the hospital from 7:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. daily. Visitors of non-isolation patients will be limited to two adult visitors per patient, per day. Visitors of patients in isolation will be limited to one adult visitor per day and must wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

Overnight stays with critical care and comfort care patients will be addressed on a case-by-case basis. Adults exhibiting signs of illness such as fever, sniffles, cough, and respiratory symptoms and sneezing will not be permitted to visit.

Patients in the Emergency Department will be limited to one visitor per day. Visitors experiencing fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, and/or nasal congestion, will be asked to visit on another day when they have been symptom free for at least 3 DAYS.

Nuevas Reglas Para Visitantes


Bakersfield Heart Hospital pide a los visitantes que se adhieran a las siguientes reglas:

No se permitirán niños menores de 18 años en el hospital a menos que estén buscando atención.

A partir del 20/03/2020 ESTAMOS RESTRINGIENDO TODAS LAS VISITAS a los pacientes sometidos a la prueba COVID-19 Y A LOS PACIENTES EN CCU y PCU para proteger la salud de los pacientes y el personal, a menos que lo apruebe el equipo de atención de cada paciente.

Los visitantes aprobados podrán ingresar al hospital de 7:30 a.m. a 6:30 p.m. por día. Los visitantes de pacientes sin aislamiento estarán limitados a dos visitantes adultos por paciente, por día. Los visitantes de pacientes en aislamiento estarán limitados a un visitante adulto por día y deben usar el equipo de protección personal adecuado.

Las pernoctaciones con pacientes de cuidados críticos y cuidados de confort se abordarán caso por caso. No se permitirá la visita de adultos que presenten signos de enfermedad como fiebre, resfriado, tos y síntomas respiratorios y estornudos. Los pacientes en el departamento de emergencias estarán limitados a un visitante por día. A los visitantes que experimenten fiebre, tos, dolor de garganta, dolores corporales y / o congestión nasal, se les pedirá que visiten otro día cuando hayan estado libres de síntomas durante al menos 48 horas.
